The owners are very helpful. They open communicated with me via the booking.com messaging system and they really helped in my situation, believe me! As to the Trulli Caroli, it is a lovely property out amongst the olive groves outside of Locorotondo. The neighborhood is actually stunning.. and quiet... with a lot of nicely-kept properties. I enjoyed walking around the walled lanes on foot, admiring the restored trulli and other buildings, the olive groves and the abundant wildflowers. Of course, I wanted to stay in a trullo while in the area ... and this one was very cozy, with a kitchen area, a dining table, a pretty large bedroom, and a modern bathroom. The weather outside was a bit stormy at times- rainy and windy- but tucked away comfortably in the trullo, I was kept out of danger! I am also very grateful for them to have put me in touch with Ferdinando, a local taxi, who helped bring me back to Trulli Caroli from Alberobello. A godsend!
