The Casa del Monacone emerged as the result of a restoration project of the 18th century monastery complex adjacent to Santa Maria della Sanità Basilica.Offering 6 comfortable rooms, the place features single to family accommodations,each equipped with a private bathroom, individual heating and air-conditioning, fridge-bar, and a safety box.Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests.Additional amenities include access to an elevator,a welcoming common lounge and breakfast room,internet hub,a modern kitchen, and a panoramic terrace overlooking the beautiful elliptical monastery cloister. In 2006,the ancient monastery quarters were completely restructured and redesigned.The Artistic Concept behind the transformation of the old monastery into a comfortable B&B was conceived and implemented by the renowned Neapolitan designer Riccardo Dalisi.The furnishing and decoration process involved renovating vintage pieces, restoring antique paintings, adding precious majolica,designed and hand-made by Dalisi himself. All the steel light fixtures and copper door decorations were hand-made by the local artisanal shop IronAngels.All in all,a wonderful balance between ancient and modern was reached
