This hotel was perfect for our short stay in Chieti scalo. It is very close to the university so there are nice places close by for food and drink. The room was very clean and tidy. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They recommended a great place for dinner nearby. It was a very nice stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Chieti is split into 2 towns - the "bottom" town where the train comes in. There is nothing to see here other than a main, noisy street with take-away pizza restaurants - hardly anything was open and it felt like a ghost town. Then there is "Chieti Historic Centre" up a very steep hill about 4kms away (good luck with the bus timetable - a lottery!). Cute little place where all but one restaurant was closed and most of the shops were closed. Nice (small) church in a lovely square, which was deserted and only had one bar/cafe. Main street runs from one end to the other - deserted during the daytime and barely alive at night! We found a nice park with a lovely restaurant (which was closed on Mondays). Honestly - there is NOTHING to see or do in Chieti unless you want to sit in the same bar all day (only bars and cafes or DREADFUL pizzerias were open), eating ice cream or drinking coffee. Don't waste your time visiting.

Chieti is a lovely, peaceful town high above the valley. Perfect for a stopover for a couple of days. We discovered some excellent restaurants, serving both meat and pasta options. The town has a large park for walking and relaxing in and a museum.

Chieti (and Abruzzo as a whole) feel like undiscovered gems in Italy. The old town is large and interesting, the main Piazza del Duomo is being worked on and will look amazing when done, the food is absolutely to die for and half the price relative to standard Northern Italian tourist areas. It was a stopover for us on a drive to Puglia, but we are already thinking about when we can return.

Chieti is a wonderful, historical, quiet city, with stunning views across the countryside and towards the two main mountain ranges in the region.. Great streets, with superb cafes and restaurants, and a wonderful park. Full of history, around every corner. The people are open and friendly, and very talkative ! There is an excellent bus service within the city, and linking the city to Pescara, the airport, the beaches and beyond.
Definitely, the biggest advantage of this accommodation is super friendly and caring owner. We got free homemade breakfast and also owner recommend us few nice places to see and eat in Chieti. Moreover he knew that we are without car, so he drove us all way to train station. That was super nice!
The second nice thing about this accommodation is beautiful views from balcony. It is really breathtaking! Also location is quite nice - there are buses from train station and also center of the city is about 10 minutes by foot.
The interior is kinda old and classic.
<100m from Chieti Train station, friendly staff especially the receptionist guy, clean room with good working AC, good buffet breakfast with a lot of choices including sweets, egg, hotdog, fruits and many more. The nightly rate was ok knowing the next day was Ferragosto. I booked for a single room and I had a French bed. Thanks to Dorothy, the young lady at the breakfast area, for the good suggestions of the nice places to visit in Chieti. I had a very nice time in the hotel.
Andrea and his sister Gabrielle were exceptional. We booked the stay last minute and even after 19:00 there wasn't a problem to collect the key. We were very surprised by the flat and how clean it was. Everything was ready to use and Andrea thought every single thing through. He even left us a toothbrush to use. There was coffee and coffee pods to choose from. Variety of teas and wine in fridge. We stayed only one night as we were passing through the Chieti but would definitely come back next time.
It was very central to Chieti (alto) but that's not hard as it's a 2-street town! Bed was comfortable. "Breakfast" was some yoghurts in the fridge, some jam, cookies and long-life jammy/sweet croissants. Butter, crackers and milk was provided, plus some tea bags and coffee pods (not enough). There was an ice cream shop (Gelaterria) a few doors down - which was great as nothing else was open except for take away pizzas!!
It's a perfect place to stay in Chieti, if you want to self cater; it is well equipped for this purpose.
It has beautiful views of the mountains, the city, and some small towns in Abruzzo, such as Bucchianico, which rests on a misty hill below the mountains.
Highly recommended if you want to explore Abruzzo; you don't need a car as the bus transport system is well integrated.
The Quadrifoglio is close to Pescara, Chieti, and the Maiella National Park. Dinners were plentiful and tasty; the breakfasts were meager compared to other places we stayed. The rooms were adequate and the bathroom serviceable, not modern. The decorations reflected an earlier era and took some getting used to, though not off-putting.

The property is in a nice area of Chieti, close to museums and the centro. There was parking which was great for being so close to the centro as well. Claudia was very helpful as we had parked some distance away and she came with us to direct us back to the building. There are beautiful views from both of the two terraces.
The apartment was very clean, well appointed and looked like it had been recently renovated. All the rooms were large and comfortable. The apartment was located a very short walking distance to the main street of Chieti, a short walk up the street and up some steps to the main street.
It is just a few minutes walk from the center of Chieti (it is a hilly town so take that into account when visiting). The room and common space were clean and comfortable. The dear hostess is friendly and was quite helpful with everything that came up during my stay. Highly recommend!
The location was great, walking distance to the centre of Chieti. The apartment was comfortable, and had everything we needed. Claudia even left us some treats for breakfast! Overall a great stay. Claudia was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly.
The host lady was very nice and kind and made excellent coffee. Nice selection of breakfast goods.
The place was super clean. … and cute. I stayed couple of hotels and B&Bs on my long road trip but this was the only place where there was useful Wifi ☺️
The location was very good, close to the University. Also close to the train station and bus station to go to Chieti. The room was clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly. I would suggest this property to anyone.
Lovely clean old style hotel with very kind staff. Large rooms with balconies and a/c. Fantastic restaurant with amazing food, clearly it is very popular as it was almost full on the Tuesday night we stayed there
Second stay. Excellence in every way. Very helpful with cabs to and from Chieti train station and Christmas Day resturant reservation. Very clean quiet awesome staff! Wonderful breakfast, love all!
Lovely centrally-located hotel in Chieti with very pleasant, welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and very clean with lots of toiletries provided.
