We had the run of the first floor of a lovely mansion. That included two bedrooms, two toilets with showers, a shared kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a delightfully friendly kitty cat that sat on our laps at the end of the day. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Everything exceeded our expectations (and for a very reasonable price). When we are in Venice again, we will definitely book it.

Authentic Bed And Breakfast located in the heart of the Dorsoduro district, few steps from the renowned Squero San Trovaso, near by Zattere and the Gallerie dell'Accademia, the favourite area by art lovers. Michelangelo will greet you with warmth in his house surrounded by a splendid garden and characterized by its peaceful atmosphere. Thanks to the nearby water bus station, public transportation is easily accessible. The B&B is located on the second and third floor of a Venetian palazzina owned by the Michelangelo's family for three generations and from over sixty years. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms available for guests. Please book for 3 guests if you want to use both bedrooms and both bathrooms even if you are alone or 2 people. The kitchen, the living room and the terrace will be shared only with Michelangelo. In fact, there will not be other guests in house during your stay. The price includes: breakfast on 1-6 nights bookings, the use of the kitchen, a set of bed sheets, a set of towels, utilities, wi-fi for internet connection, cleaning upon departure. Guests will keep the house clean during their stay.
Born and raised in Venice. Avid sailor and kitesurfer interested in the environment, with a love of nature and healthy living. After the degree at the Art Institute of Venice, I've worked as yacht Captain which was my inspiration to found an online yacht charter agency. I recently decided to change my life, living more in my home town. Licensed real estate entrepreneur and consultant, I currently manage holiday apartments and my B&B in Venice. I enjoy welcoming my guests and I'm always happy to reveal the secrets of this unique city to them.
The magnificent Dorsoduro district includes one of the areas in absolute oldest and most picturesque of the city, also in this area there are the most important museums: Galleria dell'Accademia, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of modern art and contemporary art, the contemporary art museum Punta della Dogana opened in 2009 by François Pinault Foundation (which also operates the Palazzo Grassi). Here there is also wonderful Cà Rezzonico Museum, the Great scuola grande of the Carmini and Cà Foscari, where there is the famous university of economic. The most important churches are the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Church of Gesuiti and the Church of San Nicolò dei Mendicoli (a few steps by the house) one of the oldest churches in the city. Location are also very famous Squero of San Trovaso (last existing factory where still today are built gondolas) and Santa Margherita Square, main important place for venetian people and students, also where to find a fish market , fruit and vegetable shops, a supermarket and of course many bars and restaurants.
