Antonella met us at the ferry/boat even though it was late. She walked us to the apt. She showed us how to use everything. She gave us restaurant recommendations and even checked on us to see if we were enjoying our trip. Our host was amazing and the apt was perfect!

Nice two bedroom space, more than enough for a couple. We used the stove daily for breakfast, it was nice to be able to cook our own eggs on our schedule. A nice choice of restaurants nearby, many highly rated by TripAdvisor. Grocery store perhaps 1 city block walk. Bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the two twin beds in the second bedroom, but they looked comfortable as well. Plenty of hot water and liked that there was a clothes washer.

The apartment is located in one exceptional location, in a central street but not too crowded. It is possible to walk to the main attractions. Close to supermarkets and shops. Gianfranco the owner, is friendly and helpful. We’ve traveled with children, the house has everything you need for a great stay

We arrived by train after a tiresome night in the morning. We could leave our luggage in the apartment and GianFranco picked us yup at the vaporetto-station. So it was easy to find the apartment. Castello, where the apartment is located, is a very nice and quiet region in Venice. In the apartment we has all we needed to have breakfast and to cook. The apartment is very well furnished. We could have coffee nearby and GianFranco gave us a lot of information where we could buy things, which places were to visit and how to manage. Extraordinary!!

Absolutely the perfect location! We were in the heart of it all, everything from walking distance. We loved the quietness of the infamous Italian Alleyways, it’s a family oriented area so quietness is essential. Well equipped 2 bedroom aparatment, very clean and tidy.

  • Thank you for your quick response. So just to be clear, is that a yes, for four plus baby? The system would let us put this in, only he two children... so I just need to be hundred percent clear that it is agreed on. Thank you so much, Yael and Bertrand.
    The maximum occupancy is 4 that's why the system does not accept a fifth person. If you decide to book write a not advising that you need a baby cot

Bright apartment, very quiet, completely renovated in 2017. Modernly furnished, composed of a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a double room, a room with two single beds and bathroom. Perfect for families. The Bacanal apartment is equipped with central air conditioning, fast WiFi, a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box, a washing machine and a dishwasher.
Bacanal apartment as well as San Gervasio and Isepo apartments, is owned and personally runned by Caterina and GianFranco a venetian couple. Caterina supervises all the details and prepares the apartment to make you feel like home. Gianfranco speaks fluent english and welcomes his guests at the closest boat stop to the apartment and gives all the tips a venetian resident can give in order to enjoy Venice at the most.
Bacanal apartment is located next to Via Garibaldi, in the Castello district, one of the most colorful areas of Venice, where tourists can still mingle with venetian residents and enjoy the authentic venetian atmosphere. In via Garibaldi you can find all kinds of shops, a fish shop, bakeries, fruit shops and Bacari (typical Venetian pubs), restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and post office with ATM. Next to the apartment is the main location of the Biennale of modern exibition. From the GIARDINI stop, three minutes from the apartment, depart lines 1 and 2 of the public boat to reach in a few minutes al main attraction of the city, as well as the beautiful beac of Lido island or line 4.1 ti go to the three main island if the lagoon (Murano, Burano and Torcello)
