The photos do not do the hotel justice. The rooms are very well appointed and the location in Como center is great. We had a lakeview balcony. The breakfast was rich and plentiful. The staff was very friendly, efficient and happy to help - shout out to Matteo! The drinks are fairly priced.

Best location close to everything. Staff was super professional, friendly & helpful. The included breakfast was great, could not ask for more. . It was very clean and quiet. The only negative I could say is the furniture in the rooms was dated but the beds must be new -they were super comfortable. The Linens were top of the line. The shower and amenities in bathroom were great, hot water. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5.

Stay in the heart of Como

Facing Lake Como, Hotel Barchetta Excelsior is in the main square of the city and a 5-minute walk from Como Lago Nord Train Station, with direct connections to Milan. Shops, bars and restaurants are available nearby.

The Barchetta Excelsior is a member of the Villa d'Este Hotels. All rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi, a mini-bar and a TV with satellite channels. Some rooms have a private balcony with views of Lake Como.

Italian and international cuisine is served in the Bistro Restaurant on the ground floor. Light meals can be served on the outdoor terrace during the summer season.
