Very nice location. You are in the middle of Venice, few steps from the main attractions. You get to experience life in the city the way the locals do. The apartment is old, the building is old, so as all of Venice, hence our expectations were fully met. Overall we have had a great experience and the host was very nice. He met us at the station and walked, in the rain, together with us to the apartment.

GermanyThe kind and friendly host met us at the waterbus stop and guided us to the apartment, giving a mini-tour on the way. The apartment is a decent size, and it's nice to be able to spread out and to stay off the tourist path, but still close by. The kitchen was adequate (although another knife and some larger glasses would be nice!), and the bathroom was fine. The little grocery store nearby is sufficient for supplies, and the laundromat is less than 10 minutes away, with a dry-cleaner/laundry even closer.
