Borgo Solamore was a dream. Alessandra and her son have created an authentic Italian villa high in the hills of beautiful Tuscany. It was stunning, relaxing, and comfortable. We met some of the kindest people during our stay. Breakfast was HUGE and lovely. I enjoyed the yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee while my husband devoured 3-4 cornettos and freshly made bacon and eggs. The added bonus was Pinot, the precious little pup on the property who greeted us with kisses. It is a bit of a bumpy off-road ride to get there but nothing our rental couldn't handle and the views were well worth it. Our last night, Alessandra made us a four course meal with a regional red that was just incredible. Although I had to roll myself onto the plane the next day, 10/10 would stay again!

Everything, especially Alexandra and Gimmimarco!!! They couldn’t have been nicer or More gracious and hospitable. In the morning at our fabulous breakfast that was included, We said what our plans were for the day and Alexandra got out pen and paper and with exuberance told us exactly how to do it!!!! Gimmimarco is so passionate about the things he loves in Tuscany that we couldn’t help Smile and love it too!!! You really do feel Like you’re staying with friends. The setting is peaceful and the pool refreshing:) Gimmimarco I did not sneak in late at night as I had proposed. Take care you two and all the best.
