  • What is the size of the apartment? I saw somewhere that it is less than 200 square feet....is that correct>
    Thanks for your interest in our b&b Roma Borgo91. Ther b&B includes 2 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a living room with a kitchen and a private courtyard. Total flat size is 80 m2 (800 ft2) and each bedromm is about 15 m2 (150 ft2).

We started our bed and breakfast Roma Borgo91 in 2012, making true the dream of welcoming our guests in the Borgo, one of the most characteristic district of Rome' center, a city we instantly fell in love after we moved here back in 1998. Roma Borgo91 is located on the first floor of a prestigious building with particular structure ("casa di cortina" in italian) where every apartment overlooks the courtyard and has an access from the balconies that embrace every floor. Our 2 double rooms (also available as twins or single use) are spacious and equipped with own private bathroom, LED TV 32 ", telephone, kettle and air conditioning. The furniture of the entire house dates back from the beginning of last century, and have been wonderfully restored by a Borgo master restorer who is also a good friend of ours.
Originally from northern Italy, we married in 1997 and since 1998 we have moved to Rome, the wonderful city we immediately fell in love with. Here gave birth to our son Riccardo and daughter Margherita, who are delighting our life and keep us extremely busy :-) We both love Italian Renaissance and Guido is a big fan of Rome's republican and imperial history. We look forward to sharing with you our passion and to make you feel "at home in Rome"!
Roma Borgo91 is immersed in the heart of Borgo, the ancient area standing between Piazza San Pietro and Castel Sant'Angelo, just a ten minute walk from the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Ottaviano tube station (Metro A) is only a five minute's walk away. Today Borgo is one of the few districts of Rome that has maintained the character of a medieval village where you can breathe a warm familiar atmosphere. The district is crossed throughout its length by the "Passetto di Borgo", an old double-hung corridor connecting the Vatican City to Castel Sant'Angelo, Emperor Hadrian's tomb transformed into a fortress in the Middle ages. Borgo Vittorio and the parallel street Borgo Pio are very characteristic, crossed by few cars and dotted with craft shops, antique shops, restaurants and pubs that make the atmosphere unique! Nearby are supermarkets, shops and stores in which to shop at discount prices. Close by are Trastevere, famous for its nightlife, and several theaters, cinemas and nightclubs.
