Atellani Apartments inaugurated in 2015, together with the opening of Casa degli Atellani to the public with the museum project - “La Vigna di Leonardo.” (Leonardo’s Vineyard) Far from the image of a corporate brand, Atellani Apartments remains a family business that aims at providing its guests not just “hospitality”, but a genuine cultural experience. With a strong focus on each client and their personal needs. Atellani Apartments also offers various services that range from a private driver to personalized tours. The “Leonardo” apartment, located on the 15th century piano nobile of the palazzo, boasts (as in the case of “Ludovico” and “Bianca”) a breathtaking view of the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. With its arches, “Leonardo” preserves architectural details of Portaluppi’s early 20th cen. intervention, as well as in the case of “Beatrice”, with its carved niches. “Luini” ( after the Lombard Renaissance painter that also frescoed the main hall of the Casa Atellani) is located on the same staircase, which is adorned by an original handrail by Portaluppi. “Luini” also offers a view on the magical, climbing ampelopsis that grows on the ancient walls of the courtyard.

Situated in the museum and private home Casa degli Atellani, which hosts “La Vigna di Leonardo,” and just few steps away from Da Vinci’s “Last Supper,” Atellani Apartments offers 6, self-catering, elegantly furnished and fully-serviced vacation apartments. Restored in the 1920’s by architect, Piero Portaluppi, Casa degli Atellani transports visitors into the Milanese Renaissance, with architectural elements that date to as early as the 1400’s. Entirely refurbished by Portaluppi’s grandson, Piero Castellini Baldissera, and great grandson, Filippo Taidelli, our apartments preserve their original beauty and reflect the elegance of the building itself, while also underlining the strong family ties that have persisted for generations in the property. SFORZA, LEONARDO, BIANCA, LUDOVICO, LUINI and BEATRICE – names that reference the Milan of the Sforza family era – were conceived as luxury, “boutique apartments” that unite historical charm with contemporary style.
