The location is fantastic. An easy walk to Rialto and San Marco which meant we could pop home for a rest easily, which was handy as I was travelling with my daughter. Lorenzo was a wonderful host and met us at the water taxi stop and walked us to the apartment. I was so worried about arriving at night with no idea of the city so having him meet us removed any of that stress. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. Some flights of stairs to the apartment so best to bring backpacks or small bags that are easy to manage. The restaurant downstairs did not bother us at all but we travelled in December. Perhaps there would be more noise in the peak season though.
