We had a very pleasant experience at Villa Maria, the room was very nice and clean and Simone, the host of this place was friendly and helpful. He prepared us a very pleasant breakfast and on the day of departure, how we had to leave very early, he left breakfast treats on the kitchen table for us to take with us on the way. A good choice for a weekend in this area of Tuscany, in Cascina, which is an easy drive from Pisa or Lucca. Room was a basic business hotel room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable even though we arrived late, hot, and tired. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic - including gluten free options. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The decor was interesting and unique.
