The walk through this small city is very pleasant. The squares are very nice. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Pasticeria Russo is a must to visit while in Santa Venerina for exceptional local cakes (canoli) and ice cream (gelato).
We came to Sicilia by car so we traveled to the beaches as well as to visit Taormina, Catania, Siracusa and Scali dei Turchi.

We were too far from the town itself to comment on its suitability for a stay . It was not walkable! Our accommodation was great for a stay in warm weather to make the most of the extensive grounds and fantastic views

Good location for mount Etna.
Good location for mount Etna.
But too far to the beach and Catania
A car was essential. S. Venerina has a great Pizzeria serving lots of local dishes as well as Really great Pizza.
The town is very small and lacked any character. It wasn’t a pretty village. But the grounds of the Hotel were amazing.

Quiet village with some good pizzerias and a good sized Conad supermercato. Both the seaside (San Tecla) as the Etna are just a few km away. The village Linera belongs to Santa Venerina and is equally enjoyable.
The hotel is set in lovely grounds and is a great relaxing haven. It's well located for exploring Etna and the rest of the eastern coast of Sicily.
The pool area is well set up and we couldn't get enough of the views. The food was very good, both at breakfast and dinner.
The suite was a great size and worked well for our weeks stay. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The staff were great and provided friendly and relaxed service. Thank you!
Super location for exploring Mount Etna and the beautiful coastline around Taormina.
The owners are lovely, welcoming and super helpful.
The villa has a wonderful terrace with sunny and shaded areas, BBQ, a great plunge pool and, best of all, views of Mount Etna from the bedroom balconies! It is located on the outskirts of Santa Venerina, a very pleasant and unspoiled town with restaurants, cafes and a couple of small supermarkets.
Awesome hotel and very helpful staff. We were greeted every day with smiles and a willingness to help and make our stay pleasant. Great rooms with an unforgettable view! Very good WiFi. Everywhere is clean, the restaurant dishes were delicious. Private location, but sightseens are close - Taormina, Etna volcano e.g. Beautiful garden around, volcano Etna, sea, clean pool. Definitely 100% recommend!
An exclusive Hotel outside from big cities with a beautiful view to the sea and on the other side to Etna.
Breakfast with citrus fruits from own garden. Personal is very kind and helpful. Rooms modern and clean. Private spa for relaxing (2 different saunas, hot tub, whirlpool) with an opportunity to order extra treatments (like massage).
Ideal for all - alone, couples and family.
Truly a fantastic and authentic little place with so much charm and thoughts to it! Owners are so genuine, welcoming and helpful with everything! Very generous too! Rooms are super cute, the outside area is an Italian dream and breakfast one one of the best ones we’ve ever had at bnb/hotels with local deliciousnes!! We are all looking forward to coming back!
Beauty of a farmstay, in between lemon and orange trees and in the shadow of the mighty Etna - looking great! Cesare is a very amicable host, who cooks an awesome breakfast. Room is spacious. Local honey, wine and limoncello sold on the property. Nicely located in between Catania, Taormina and Mt Etna. Santa Venerina is a little town with all you need.
Very nice and clean house with spacious kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is surrounded by the beautiful garden with the pool and barbecue area, absolutely private. Owners are very welcoming people, always there, when you need an advice or anything you want. Santa Venerina is situated between the sea and Etna mountain, quiet and friendly.
The hotel staff is very kind, helpful and friendly.
You can really see that this is a family owned hotel and not a chain.
The pool was nice. In general the hotel facility was in good shape, the rooms were clean, spacious and nicely designed (individual, not like typical chain hotels)
The breakfast was great and also more individual.
Overall, my stay at this hotel provided a beautiful view, a relaxing environment, and a good breakfast with an abundance of fruits. However, reaching the location without private transportation can be challenging and expensive. The pool, although not large, was a pleasant place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.
The owner Salvatore was very accommodating with our every need. The hotel is relatively new with only quality materials and wonderful details.
There is a small pool area with lots of beautiful plants and grapes. Salvatore made us a delicious vegan breakfast that we had requested.
