In October, this is a lovely place. The weather is still warm but the crowds have dissipated. Wonderful walking paths ad streets. Good restaurants and the Riserva near Scopello is a short drive and well worth the visit for the hiking and swimming coves.

One of the most beautiful places in Sicily.
One of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Wide, long sandy beach. Mountains around. Also a lot of places for hiking. And you could find small hidden beaches which are not crowded or even your company will be the only one.
Perfect place to stay for a week

Beautiful buzzing place to stay.
Beautiful buzzing place to stay. Nice at the harbour for food and people watching but also great on the side streets and main strip for restaurants and other little independent shops. We didn't get around to visiting the castle or nearby beaches as we were only there 3 nights. Could do with transport closer to get in and out to nearby towns.

Loved the holiday atmosphere plus the marina walk and live music from Thursday to Saturday. Exceptionally close to Scopello and Zingaro which should not be missed. Quality bakeries and delis and plenty of accommodation.

The town has a great marina and perfect view at the neraby mountains. It's missing a nice beach though. The center is filled with restaurants - most of them are quite expensive, but if you go a bit deeper into the town you can find something more affordable.
A lot is going on during holiday weekends - concerts, festivities and live music.

Casttllammare del Golfo is a beautiful town traditional Sicilian not too big not to small. It has a great marina with fishing boats yacht and traditional fishing boats. Lots of excursions. The local beach is small but perfect clear sea lots of little dishes flashing by and snorkeling opportunities. There are lots of shops, restaurants and historical sights to see. I loved staying here.

The Camere Simona are located just 10 minutes by foot from the very center of Castellammare del Golfo. Piazza della Repubblica square is also nearby, where you can take the bus to Scopello, the Zingaro Reserve, Palermo and more. The owners were very nice and helpful. The breakfasts in their bar were delicious. Fresh crosissants, the best I've had in Sicily. Rooms nicely decorated, had everything you need, including a refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay, it is a pity that we were only there for 3 nights. We will definitely come back again!
I haven’t got so perfect servis like in this B&B in so many years of traveling. This B&B is run by family and They do this job with love. You will feel like at home at your mom or grand mother. Many five star hotels are not with the servis like here. You will enjoy delicious breakfast, clean room and feel the interest about you from owners. The B&B is 5 mins on foot to restaurants, bars and 15 mins drive by car to the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Don’t book the different B&B in Castellammare del Golfo!
Our stay at villa Linda was amazing. The house we stayed in had a great view over the sea as well as the mountains around it. Linda was a great host came and greeted us when we arrived and explained all the beautiful places to visit in the region, even gave us a personal curated guide that we ended up using the whole time to visit places. She was always available when we needed suggestions ! Definitely recommend to stay ☺️. The beach down the road is amazing too!
Hospitality of Ewa and Sofia was just amazing, allowed us to check in earlier, helped with parking, showed us all nearby locations for visiting, provided the map, gave coupons for local restaurants, hats off the best tenants during our trip around Sicily. Location is perfect, close to the beach and to a historical center of Castellammare. Facility is freshly built, rooms are new were nicely cleaned. Breakfast in nearby café was amazing!
Great apartment in a great city! Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Two air conditioners. To the tourist center -15 minutes, to the beach - 20 minutes of quiet walking. You can park your car right next to the front door. There are enough towels, hair dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, small Jacuzzi. And an exceptionally nice and attentive host who will help you in any situation. I recommend!!!!!!!
The setting was fantastic. It was a quick, 5 minute walk across a field's path to the center of Scopello and an easy walk to area beaches or Zingaro. The owner was lovely about accommodating our needs, offering us towels for the beach and making us feel like we were family. We had a gathering with local relatives. and friends and it was a perfect patio. The setting sun was an added bonus each night.
This small hotel was wonderfully situated, close to all the main restaurants but not right on top of them.
The views from our room (12) were breathtaking overlooking the bay and marina, quite something to wake up to.
Luca, our host, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was marvellous, eating under the lemon tree, trying Luca’s mother’s yummy marmalade and different pastries!
Fantastic location and super helpful staff. Everyone was brilliant from the front desk, breakfast and cleaners.
Breakfast sat overlooking the harbour was fantastic, loads to choose from complete with homemade cakes.
If we are ever back this way this would be the only place we would stay. Thank you everyone at the Hotel Cala Marina for making our first stay in Sicily a fantastic trip!
Nestled on the slopes dropping down to the green-blue waters of the northwest Sicilian coast is the unique hideaway, Villa Cala Bianca. Even though it was only a few minutes from Castelammare del Golfo, on site this seaside cottage was amazingly isolated. The views from the front porch and the garden were remarkable, access to the property direct. Come prepared to feed the cats.
The rooms were big and light and airy and clean. The pool was probably the best hotel pool I’ve ever been in. The property is only 5 mins walk into the restaurants and shopping . The hotel staff were excellent to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. it was expensive but I think we had the best room in the hotel on the very top. worth it.
Location is perfect. Easy find parking place and at the same time you are in the center. 10 min walking to main places. Apartment is large enough. Better if you have a car. Castellamare surroundings is beautiful. One side5-10 min driving is wide sandy beach. From other side there are beautiful small beaches and coves, mountains.
Both the location and the hosts were great. Mariangela and Marcello were attentive and prompt to our needs. The location was extremely convenient to enjoy a variety of beautiful beaches, coves, museums, archeological sites, great restaurants (La Trattoria Scopello is highly recommended), as well as a few markets located nearby.
Really nice hotel in the centre of Castellamare. We booked last minute as we had another hotel which didn't work out. Staff were really helpful. Location is great. Decor of the hotel is a little bit dated but that seems to be true in a lot of Sicily. Room was really comfortable. Overall it's a great option
Perfect location for families with children who would like to sightsee north-western part of Sicily .
Big calm apartment, equipped with all necessary things.
Breakfast were really nice, hotel staff even prepared food for our baby who can't eat products which cointain cow's milk.
nice location , in a city centre, many restaurants, gelaterias, shops nearby. Kind host , trying to satisfy all our requests:) breakfast was no so big choice but it was tasty , especially croissants and sandwiches
The hotel is perfectly located right in the harbour of Castellammare del Golfo. This small town allows you to visit different places by car (Trapani for boat trips, Masala, natural reserve of Zingaro, etc.)
We are gluten-free and breakfast has blown our minds (all thanks to wonderful staff)! Romantic small city, location of hotel is close to the hearth of the main street and is close to the sea. Clean room.
The location of the hôtel is 5mins walk to thé port and 10mins to the City centre.
Thé staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. . The room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended
Beautiful clean rooms in a great location. Very easy to walk to the restaurants / nightlife and the port. Air conditioner worked very well. Staff were very helpful and responsive.
very nice Hotel in a very central location and still you can just park around the hotel for free.
walking distance to the large beach of Castellamare del golfo
