“Matteotti house “, Corso Umberto 1° N. 27/A is a holiday house, with a characteristic roof, in the heart of the town, on the very central Matteotti square and on the main street. It is full of light, with four balconies from where you can enjoy the view of the square and is surrounded by prestigious restaurants and bars. The house has all the modern comforts. It is elegant and furnished with very new beautiful and functional furnishing. It is composed by a hall (whit two armchairs and a small table), a living room with a divan bed, a table, a TV set and a kitchen with an elettric induction cooker (no gas).
I will welcome you and will be available to satisfy every need of yours.
“A theatre was the town, a proscenium of pink stones, a feast of wonders” ( Gesualdo Bufalino ). After casting off clothing which made Modica until the beginning of the last century the most singular Italian town for topographic condition, after Venice, ( Treccani encyclopedia ) every evening it dresses with lights to evoke the idea of a magic “ presepe “ “ Town of lace “ for its baroque embroideries, Modica is one of the most scenic towns in Sicily, with its beautiful churches and monasteries. Modica has been declared “ heritage of mankind “ by Unesco It is rich in folklore, cultural traditions and renowned gastronomic specialties, work of skilful artisans who vanish on them their fantasy and centuries of history.
