Also for communal use is the cozy barbecue area, where you can test your grilling skills yourself as an alternative to the good restaurants and trattorias in the near and far surroundings. Santa Maria di Castellabate offers wide free and equipped sandy beaches, a beautiful promenade directly in the town, nice coffee bars and excellent restaurants where you can taste the various specialties and the excellent wines of this region. Don't miss a visit to the ancient hamlet called Castellabate (UNESCO World Heritage Site), located about 280 meters above sea level, which dominates the entire bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate. This ancient mountain village was mentioned for the 1st mail in 1123, still today, as in the past, it is a labyrinth of ancient little houses, romantic alleys, stairways, small squares with breathtaking panoramas and hidden trattorias or small bars.
