My name is Federica I am 41 years old and I am pleased to introduce you to my home in the heart of the historic center of Palermo. A little history about the house: it was named after the street that it is located at, which was a key persona of the history of Sicily. Ruggiero Mastrangelo’s bride was insulted by French Drouet whom on Easter of 1282 caused a riot which led to the Sicilian Vespers rebellion (Vespri Siciliani). The Sicilian Vesper then became a five act opera written by Giuseppe Verdi based on the historical events occurred in 1282.
A little bit about me: I am a very active and sociable person. I love getting to know new people and cultures. I love listening to music, immerge myself in my home town’s culture and traditions and I love working out. I have been doing CrossFit for almost 7 years and now I'm an olympic weightlifting athlete. It is hard to list everything that is around Casa Ruggiero; because of its location by the Quatto Canti, you can reach any historical building, church or market around old town Palermo on foot. Come visit us and discover for yourself the beautiful architecture as well as markets and fresh food of Palermo! If you are flying in from Palermo airport you can reach Casa Ruggiero by taxi or by bus. The bus will drop you off at Palermo’s central station and from there you may walk only 5 minute. Upon request we will offer transfers from and to the airport. The Central station is within a 5 minute walk from Cara Ruggiero. Around Casa Ruggiero you will find bar/pubs, delis, restaurants, pizzerias and markets; some locations are also open 24/7. There also is a large supermarket nearby and everything is within walking distance.
