Company info

Franco and Roberta decided a few years ago to leave the city and live in direct contact with nature in an environment rich in biodiversity and of great scenic value. Thus was born the Pianale farm, which cultivates its fields with ancient farming techniques and raises animals with respect for their well-being. After renovating the old "Cascina Cornelli" overlooking the Sassello area, an agritourism is opened with only four rooms and a small restaurant where traditional Ligurian and Piedmontese dishes are enjoyed. In Cascina Corneli, Roberta and Franco welcome you to where they have decided to live.

Property info

Cascina Cornelli is an old farmhouse that was recently renovated. We are located outside the town, surrounded by nature with a full view of the Maritime Alps. We grow lavender, cereals, and vegetables in our fields and raise cows, calves, rabbits, and chickens; we have some bee hives. You can buy our agricultural products such as fine honey and jams that can also be enjoyed at breakfast. Our traditional Ligurian and Piedmontese cuisine offers local products with simple but tasty recipes. Guests can take half-board upon request. The farmstead is accessed by crossing a dirt road of about 1 km that is not suitable for cars very low from the ground; the managers will accompany guests who leave their cars at the end of the paved road with their vehicles free of charge.

Neighborhood info

Sassello is a town in Beigua Regional Park, located about half an hour from the beaches of Albisola and Varazze. A dense network of trails and the lush nature of the Apennines make our area a coveted destination for environmental tourism.
