Small, cozy, and charming town with a center town square. We enjoyed several beautiful hikes in the area that we adapted to our needs but could have gone all day if we wanted to. Beautiful scenery. The restaurant in town was unassuming but is worth going back for again and again. It was top quality and one of the best meals we had on a ten day trip!

Bucine is a quiet village.
Bucine is a quiet village. The patisserie shop has a wonderful selecting of pastries and different types of baps, Pineview ect with fillings. The also serve wonderful coffee. You get a warm welcome, all the staff are so lovely and very concerned about the guests' wellbeing. The wonderful property is located a little outside and the view is magnificent. Stefano is extremely friendly, speaks very good English and he accommodated us well. He gave us a brief tour of the place and you could feel the feeling of proudness in him. The lake scenery is lovely (although, we did not have a swim) and the cabins are comfortable. There's also a great place for take-away pizza in Bucine: Pizza Che Delizia. Another apartment was included in the current two-for one deal, but we didn’t need it. The swimming pool is magnificent and there’s a nicely equipped kids’ play area. Beautiful location an easy distance by car from village of Bucine (a small but good Co-op supermarket) and town of Montevarchi.

Dino and Paula were amazing hosts. They prepared us traditional Tuscanian dishes for dinner, which were absolutely delicious. Their house is located away from the crowds in a cute little town called Bucine - the perfect starting point to every city in Tuscany. Everything about the stay was perfect. They made us feel at home.
