Luxury villa (original stone "casolare"), built in 1877 and fully renovated in 2017. Sits in the serenity of 4 acres covered by 330 olive trees. Beautiful outdoor space with private heated pool, patio, and stone kitchen. The Casolare is built according to the finest local standards with characteristic features such as "star" and "barrel" ceilings, stone fireplace and locally handcrafted ceramic tiles. The Casolare is located in Ostuni, 5 Km (10 minutes) from the center and 11 Km (20 minutes) from the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic Sea. It offers a living room with sofa bed and fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, 2 master bedrooms with en-suite, a bedroom with bunk bed, a guest bathroom, and a huge veranda with kitchen and fireplace. Casolare degli Ulivi has both AC and underfloor heating, Wi-Fi (indoor and outdoor), a smart TV with Netflix, a remote controlled entrance gate, an alarm system security service, and a video doorbell. The land surrounding the casolare is spectacular and our guests can enjoy tranquility and quiet strolls in the shade of beautiful olive trees, while being only a short drive away from the lively Ostuni center and a variety of amazing beaches.
Our guest manager will greet you at the property, or where it is most convenient for you, for check in. Dedicated staff will be available for assistance 24/7. If desired, we can help you organizing tours, arrange meals with chef at the property, make reservations, schedule pasta-making classes, beauty treatments, and even set up photo shoots. We can also arrange airport pick-up/drop off. The heated pool is maintained by professionals. The gas pool heater can be turned on and off by the guests. The pool heater has a dedicated meter and the guest will be charged Euro 2/Cubic Meter at check out. The gas necessary to bring the pool temperature to 30 degrees Celsius obviously depends on the outdoor temperature. During the last 3 seasons the average daily cost to warm up the pool has been the following: May / Sept: Eu 15-35 Apr / Oct: Eu 25-60 Mar / Nov: Eu 40-80 Born and raised in Italy, about 20 years ago I moved to New York. I love the city and the energy it delivers! I traveled extensively both for business and for pleasure and traveling is my great passion. Here in New York I keep myself busy with hard work as well as with my precious and beautiful family, and plenty of sport.
Ostuni is one of the most stunning cities in southern Italy, famous for the dazzling effect of its whitewashed houses. It is a genuine and charming example of Mediterranean architecture. The city of Ostuni is a series of levels, staircases, small roads, alleys, arches. Hints of the Middle Ages are at hand in every corner, in every view to the sea, in the portal of a palace, in the walls of a convent or the front of a church. The brightness of its whitewashed houses, set against the pink-tinged brown of its principal monument, makes the town stand out in the green of the surrounding area. Is this happy combination of the natural and the man-made that has made Ostuni one of the most attractive cities in the region and an essential part of any tour of Italy.
