    Gezellige woning en zeker voldoende ruimte. Super mooi zicht op de bergen! De auto kon je niet voor de deur laten staan omdat de straat te smal was. Maar dat gaf juist charme aan het dorpje. Je kon de auto wel uitladen voor de deur.

Neighborhood info

We would like to describe some aspects of the house to ensure that you have all the necessary information: it would be a shame to expect a different location, a livelier neighborhood, or an easier way to reach the ski slopes. The Dolomiti Superski area is nearby: Campitello Sella Ronda is a 10-minute drive away, Buffaure and the night ski slope are also a 10-minute drive away, the nearest lift is the Pera chairlift that takes you to Ciampedie (5 minutes by car) where there is also a ski school for children; however, as the house is located halfway up the mountain and not at the bottom of the valley, a private car is necessary. The car must be equipped with winter tires or chains from November to April. There is no private parking, the car must be left along the road to Gardeccia, in a large free parking lot. In addition, there are many villages in the valley to visit: Pera is the closest, with a small supermarket, otherwise Pozza is our favorite, and Canazei (15 minutes away) is the largest, with a nice swimming pool and wellness center (Aquatic Center Dolaondes). You should bear in mind that the village of Moncion is VERY TINY: there is a very simple bar with a nice terrace, open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. We hope we have given you an idea of the place: it is special and different from other more conventional solutions.
