This small town is surrounded by Italian Alps which allow travelers to stay calm and peaceful mood. Convenient stores were available in the city center. It is easy to access to any hotel from main road to the edge of mountains. Location of this town is in between Ortisei and Cinque Torri which makes this town as stopover for a night for Dolomites pilgrimage. Of course, multiple night stay is also recommended. In summer time, air and temperature can refresh tired body and release stress. Highly recommendable with two thumbs up.

We were there the beginning of May and most shops, restaurants and cafes were closed. There’s a cafe at the tennis courts in Corvara that has coffee and toastees for breakfast or lunch, and Al Lago cafe looked good for breakfast and lunch but we didn’t eat there. Down the road at La Villa the La Tor restaurant was very good but a little pricey; the one we actually liked better was a pizza place at the roundabout called L’Fana, with really good pizza, good wine and a nice cosy atmosphere. Cafe Gasser is great for coffee, pastries, bread, and a few groceries. Weekends things seemed to shut down when we were there, but a lot more shops were open on Monday before we left.

Loved the evening saunas, boot camp!
Loved the evening saunas, boot camp! and the stunningly beautiful views from the hotel down the valley. Loved the restaurant - all meals were amazing, and the restaurant staff were outstanding - lucky to have JuanCarlos! The evening lounge was beautiful with fires everywhere, good piano singer, magical feeling relaxing there! great support to make sure the skiing opportunities were as good as you could get, and the shuttle was brilliant and very timely. Good variety of blues and red runs with good restaurants available on the slopes. Had a few issues with some officious staff on reception but otherwise the staff were so friendly and helpful at all times. It became home from home!

Beautiful town, perfect for a skiing holiday in winter.
Beautiful town, perfect for a skiing holiday in winter. It also seems to have a lot to do in summer, so we would happily go back to explore when the snow has melted. The ski school and rental depot are well-located, there is a good range of ski slopes, and the ski huts are lovely to stop in.

A village in the heart of the Dolomites with stunning 360 views. Most of the restaurants and bars are in the hotels, but it's a short drive to Corvara, where there are more shops etc. Wonderful for skiing both for beginners with access to easy slopes and for advanced skiers who have direct access to the Sellaronda circuit.
Best breakfast we’ve had in Italy (and during the summer months, you can enjoy it from the terrace with a gorgeous view of the Dolomites). Their whole wheat croissants with honey is divine. I will dream about this breakfast for years to come! The rooms were very modern and clean, and the outdoor infinity pool is Instagram worthy. It’s conveniently located in Colfosco, where you can reach mountain bike and hiking trails and lifts very easily. The room is very spacious and well-built; everything you touch feels expensive.
The location was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, and the views were stunning. I would thoroughly recommend getting a mountain view room, though the views all round are spectacular. Alongside that the hotel was spotless, the staff were extremely helpful and eager to please, the waiting staff in the restaurant were wonderful, the food was outstanding and the facilities and spa were superb. Special mention to Lukas in reception who was exceptionally welcoming and went out of his way to assist us.
Fabulous hotel run by owners Gabriella and Andreas. They have mastered the art of making you feel welcome and at home all the time. Breakfast is a perfect start to the day and you have the option of eating a wonderful home-cooked dinner if you'd like. We can't say enough about this place. Everything was perfect: the room, owners, location, and food. This was our fourth time visiting the Dolomites and our first time staying at Garni Reutlingen. We wish we had found it earlier!
We were in Italy for two weeks and we stayed in a total of five different lodging accommodations (all mid-range prices). This place (Settsass Residence) was by far the best - value for the money, attractive location, amenities, warm and friendly staff/owner, etc. The apartment was a perfect balance between modern amenities and a comfortable and cozy feel. The kitchen had everything that you would need. Beds were comfortable. Most rooms have a deck/porch.
The location is perfect; in the centre of Colfosco and with direct access to ski slopes. Ski rent is just across the street. Hotel was recently renowated and it looks really nice. We enjod the renewed wellness area specially because it was never crowded. Delicious restaurant and cosy bar with vibrant atmosphere in the evening is the place to go. And special compliments for the boss and the whole team for their hospitality, kindness and motivation.
The property was spotlessly clean with warm comfortable rooms tastefully decorated. Our hosts, Patrizia and Ruddy were exceptional. Patrizia providing us with home cooked food and a Ruddy waiting on with his charm and humour.
The ski bus stopped virtually outside the hotel to take us 5 minutes to the slopes. This was our second time staying in Colfosco and yet again did not disappoint. Superb weather too made for an exceptional holiday
Gabri and Andreas are warm, charming, hospitable hosts with great knowledge about the area. They treat each of their guest individually and are always aroung to help you. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable beds. Thorough cleaning is done everyday during breakfast. There is a great restaurant just across the street. Nice walk to Colfosco or by bus shuttle for free.
This is probably the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. The room was absolutely amazing, the amenities were great and the restaurant view was breathtaking. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
Hotel is super. Staff very helpful, food is excellent in both quality and presentation. Staff offered my wife an alternative dish -which itself was excellent - when she was unable to eat meat based food (she is a veggie !).
Just so good...
The view from the balcony was amazing. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Enough parking spots for guests. Wi-Fi worked great. Location was close to all the places we wanted to visit with our car. But there is a bus stop next the hotel.
Our stay there was a highlight of our trip to Italy. Everything was wonderful. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. I am only sorry we were not able to have dinner there, as well.
My and my wife had celebrated our honeymoon in the hotel and I have to say that it was the best decision we had made. Everything was perfect. Huge thanks to Magda at the front desk and also Sasha in the restaurant.
The location of the hotel is prefect. All the famous peak is available on foot.
The breakfast was very good. We had dinner only once in the restaurant and it was also high quality.
The staff is very friedly.
The hotel offered dinner menus for set price which were very big and tasty! One of us is vegetarian and we talked to the chef and had whatever we wanted.
Good value for money, staff were very nice
The hotel's owner is a very friendly, kind, and helpful woman.
The room had a beautiful view, with very efficient room service.
The parking area was enough and spacious.
