Civico475, recently renovated, is the typical house you can find in Chioggia. A seaside refuge that combines local tradition with contemporary design. (on the ground floor, entrance and bathroom, first floor living area and small kitchen and the mezzanine that houses the bedroom) It is located in one of the characteristic streets, called “calli”, of the city centre situated between the lagoon and the historic center. The house is also a perfect starting point for visiting Venice or Padua because it is at just a two minute walk to the bus stop for Venice and Padua and at a 10 minutes walk from the ferry that via the lagoon takes you to Saint Mark Square passing by Pellestrina and Lido. A longer journey for sure but definitely a more amazing one.
Traveling has taught us a lot and continues to do so. We enjoy travelling because it makes us feel as being part of the world and therefore we can’t wait to welcome our guests hoping to help them feel like “locals” and to give them a taste of “our” world. We will be happy to recommend to you our favourite places and to give you tips and suggestions that will help you discover and, hopefully, love this city that we are lucky enough to call home.
The house is located in a Rione (=district), a quiet area in the historical city centre. It is only 1.5 Km away, a 10-minute walk along the lagoon from Sottomarina’s beach and it is also just a few steps away from “Corso del Popolo”, the main street across the historic city center. It is where everyday life happens by day and also by night. There you can find many shops, restaurants, museums, churches and historical buildings.
