Nice girl at the reception waited for us because we were a little late to check in, location is the best you can imagine, few minutes walk everywhere, rooms are cozy, clean, ideal for city break trip, warm in the room, hot water all the time, clean, cold beer in the reception. Absolutely I think you won't get anything better for this price.

Location was excellent. A few minutes walk from De Ferrari Metro Station, which links to the Main train stations. Situated in the Old Town area of Genoa, surrounded by lovely Restaurants and Cafe's. All the sights were in walking distance from the hotel. Would recommend for stay in Genoa

Good size room - basic but has everything one may need for a short stay. Spacious bathroom with good facilities. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Would stay here again.

The staff was exceptional..so responsive to every question I posed, so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and kind. The hotel is small but comfortable. Newly renovated, clean, and an excellent location. Walking distance to the port area and many other attractions in the center, close to the metro which is very easy to use. Get a 24 hour transit pass for 4.50 euros. The hotel is a tad hard to find initially but once you know where it is, a terrific location. Its down a flight of stairs from April Xxv street but there is a side route as well to avoid the steps. Its very close to piazza dei Ferrari with its beautiful fountain. Plenty of places to eat, close to nuovo stra da. The ac worked well as did the wifi. I would definitely stay here again. Mille Grazie to Michael, Claudia and Anneta.

The location was excellent—I walked down to the port (15 minutes), very close to major shopping streets (5 minutes) museums and transport. All the rooms are newly renovated, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Genoa!

The location was ideal to many tourist sites in the historic center of the city and relatively close to the Brignole train station. The Opera Cafe had a wonderful variety of pastries, etc. for breakfast. The hotel has recently been redone and is modern and clean. The staff was exceptionally helpful in giving us directions and recommendations.

Hotel Doria provided a comfortable stay for 3 nights, the bed was extremely comfortable and the waterfall shower excellent. The heating worked well, and as I was on an upper floor I was able to open a window for fresh air. The Hotel is close to the Metro, about 5-10min walk. (note that if you have heavy bags, do not follow google maps which will take you down a steep staircase, rather go around the side road just after the metro exit, near the Carrefour express) The hotel is close to the Heritage sights, and using the Metro it is easy to get around in the city. The staff were extremely friendly, and very helpful in terms of information of places to see in the city. Thank you especially to Giovanni (not sure of the spelling!)
