This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.

This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit.
This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit. Head out on windy roads with each drop and rise opening views of vineyards, olive groves and honey colored houses. Taste test to your heart’s content and head out early to catch dinner in a medieval hill top town. Or, you could settle down with a glass in hand and read through that pile of books you brought along! Eat at Bar el Poggio or the La Toppa Trattoria in the Main Street, both are great. Parking is 5 euros a day or free, depending when you get there (be early!).

Beautiful and quiet area that is a short 15-30 minute vespa/car ride away from many popular Tuscan towns and Chianti vineyards. Also the perfect spot to take day trips to either Florence, San Gimignano, or Siena (each 30-50 mins away).

This property was stunning.
This property was stunning. We loved the views and surrounding scenery. It was peaceful and beautiful and the perfect holiday and we would have liked to stay longer. The shops are within driving distance and easy to find with lots of local produce to try. We loved the walks around the property and scenery. It was picture perfect and had everything we needed. My kids loved the pool and wide open spaces to roam around. We felt like the only people there. We went on lots of walks and early morning runs. It was simply stunning.

I love the dinners Beatrice and her staff are preparing every evening, full of flavors and taste. Nice to chill at the pool with a bottle of wine and admire the Tuscan hills.
The location is great, very Italian, the rooms are nicely decorated, clean and the staff is very friendly.

Such a cute little town with friendly residents and a wonderful restaurant...La Vecchia Piazza. Low-key and casual, with the best pizza we've ever had. We also appreciated that they had a separate menu in English, though some of the translations were amusing. Given we don't speak any Italian, we have no room to judge! We sat outdoors and were surrounded by mainly locals and a big table of Germans and it was lively and breezy. On the second night we went, there was a street festival with food, booths selling their wares, and musicians. Most everyone spoke at least a little English, but we were all able to communicate just fine.

We returned with pleasure to this wonderful location. While a bit far from various tourist objectives, the central location made Lucca, Sienna, Firenze and similar just at a good reach time.
Nice large rooms, well fitted and with efficient air conditioning.
The staff was polite and helpful and made a good impression. Since we travelled with our cat, they made sure that everything will be fine with cleaning but also with the cat.
Travelling by car is the best option to fully enjoy the Tuscan beauties.
Amazing place to stay in the middle of Tuscany with fantastic views!
The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for self catering. The pool is shared but there was enough space for everyone.
You can walk into town which has a supermarket and few restaurants but would definitely recommend having a car to make the most out of seeing the area and getting to other towns and Florence!
Niccolò was a great host and also helped us book a vineyard tour.
The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and cool in warm weather. The bathroom was spacious enough and had a great shower. The whole accommodation is super clean and well kept. The pool, parking and garden were also great. Breakfast had plenty of choice and varied per day (omelettes were so good). Location is good, and Tavarnelle is a nice, small place with some good restaurants, but most of the sights and nicer towns take a short drive.
Fantastic time. On arrival, we weren’t sure what the dinner would entail, but we are so glad we went for it! The food was delicious (authentic Italian cuisine made in the farmhouse kitchen), the setting was beautiful and the hosts were amazing! We had dinner each night we stayed and we were not disappointed. The wine and olive oil served with dinner are made on the property. The pool has a spectacular view. The location couldn’t be better. We’ll be back!
Podere Vigliano is perfectly located to get all around the Chianti area, Sienna and Florence. It’s situated high overlooking a gorgeous valley of vines and trees. The view is stunning. Niccolo was so welcoming and helpful with ideas for restaurants and sites. Couldn’t have been nicer. The unit (2BR) was large and bright and clean. Very comfortable.
Very nice and charming place with its own identity. 5* staff, always kind and willing to help. Comfortable bed, good sheets, great views, pool and pool bar. Mantained gardens, nice entrance and comfortable parking next to the hotel. We stayed just for one night during our roadtrip, but we definitely want to come again for longer!
A really great location in the middle of the wine yard and a perfect place to relax and calm down, but also to make day trips to Florence or Siena or other places. The pool was great and nice feature. At night nicely cooler than in a city and great terrace to sit and have dinner that we made in the kitchen of our apartment.
Exactly as shown in the photos; a lovely historic building, converted with great taste into a b&b, lovely hosts, great breakfast, super comfy bed, amazing view from the room / balcony and location is unbeatable to explore the chianti area as well as to go into Florence or Siena for the day.
The property is a nicely built collection of apartments. The units are two floors , large, with kitchen , one and half baths , living room, master suite with bath and outside space to sit and enjoy the view. The units have dishwasher and the hotel has washer and drier . Beautiful property.
Very nice stay! Good location, breakfast and dinner were delicious, easy to find and easy access with the car. Wifi all around the location, in the rooms, at the pool... We also went to eat to Beatrice 's son and brother's restaurants (Barberino and Tavernelle) and both were very good!
Second time staying here so that says it all. Comfortable and convenient B&B. Attached restaurant serves breakfast as well as supper and the owner Katya is as good as it gets! Hope to be back soon. Gated parking area as well
the room and hotel were immaculate, beautifully decorated and very well maintained.
excellent location to explore northern Tuscany (easy access to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano)
Great boutique hotel, amazing location, friendly staff, clean and very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Everything was perfect!
Very authentic, comfortable and spacious room. The hosts are wonderful! There is free parking just a short walk away. Beautiful views of the countryside from the terrace.
It was a very nice hotel, new and modern furnished, with lot of facilities like the swimming pool. The breakfast was very rich and various the staff was very friendly.
