The deck had great views. The hotel was next to the ferry dock so it was easy enough access the lake from there. It was close to restaurants . Had a pool and access to the lake. Our room had a balcony and table and chairs for viewing the lake. The air conditioner worked well. The room had two overstuff chairs for sitting inside.

CanadaThe place was very pretty and the setting on the lake, especially the view from our balcony, was excellent. Also, the breakfast was excellent for already being included. Huge buffet with everything you could really want. Beds are decent--nothing special but the pillows were good and it's basically 2 twin beds pushed together (so many older european hotels do this) so you have plenty of space but you do have to avoid the 'crack' in the middle. The bar & restaurant were both nice if a lil overpriced but that's hotel dining everywhere. Overall a great place and very legit for the price.
United States of AmericaHotel is located on the lake (with private lake access) which means beautiful scenery and lots of options for a new ‘profile picture’ :-) Rooms are big and clean, staff is extremely friendly and breakfast had variety of options, including fresh orange juice, eggs, vegetables and pancakes. We will surely be back!
IsraelLago Maggiore is a magical place - one of the most beautiful I have seen. The Grand Hotel Dino is a classic old hotel with elegance and charm, situated right on the shore of the lake, steps away from the ferry dock. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The town of Bavenno was charming with many trattorias - don't miss the pastry shop across the street from the hotel! Take a ferry to Isola Bella and enjoy a tour of the palace and gardens and if there is time, visit the town of Stresa also easy to get to by ferry. Highly recommend!
