The location of the hotel was ideal, just steps from the pedestrian only shopping area and close to the bus station. The room was huge and the shower was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had a great selection of food items.

The room was just so spacious with 2 chairs, a little eating area with a stool, a pot for boiling water and cups, all of which were such nice touches. After being in tiny European rooms light on the amenities, this was an enjoyable respite. There was also a plug by the bed and a balcony with chairs. The shower was bigger than the usual ones as well. Just a really exceptional value.

We have been the clients of Berthod since the late 80s when we used Courmayeur as a base for ski vacations. The hotel was refurbished over the years and once again since our last visit pre-Covid, two years ago. Great central location, but a quiet street nevertheless, great mountain views, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast and a very pleasant and helpful staff.
