“The hosts Marta and Roffo are amazing. So friendly. They cooked us a meal that we could not believe. One of our favorite meals of all-time. Local ingredients and many were foraged by Marta that day. Space is comfortable, clean and stylish. Very nice bathroom. Sweet dogs and goats too. Simply cannot recommend it highly enough. Homemade limoncello and practically everything else.”

From cooking up the most amazing dinners and desserts that catered for our rather strict and strange diet. Nothing was too difficult for Marta and she embraced the new challenge and outdid herself. “Il Monte has a stunning location and panoramic views over the Abruzzo mountains. Marta and Rafal are wonderful hosts and great chefs. They offer meals when you want and what they cook is just delicious. The best we ate in the region, with the most beautiful view, while our kids were safely asleep upstairs. If you come here you MUST eat here, you won't regret it. Our kids loved the cats, goats, ducks and we all loved the fresh veggie patch we could pick tomatoes, cucumbers and other tasty vegetables from. The region is a delight : rocky mountains, beautiful meadows and the sea close by. Few tourists but plenty of highlights to discover and enjoy.”

“L'accoglienza veramente TOP. Marta e'stata una perfetta padrona di casa. I suoi racconti, la sua simpatia e non ultimo, le sue torte buonissime, non le dimentichero' facilmente. La casa, colorata e accessoriata, e'perfetta x chi cerca un posto silenziosissimo, in mezzo al verde, con una bellissima vista sulla natura circostante. Forse scomoda la scala interna ma si puo' usare quella esterna. La posizione e'perfetta x visitare sia posti di mare che la Maiella o i borghi piu'a sud. Straconsigliata!
