This is a great location amidst the hills and abandoned olive plantations. Safe, clean, and quiet. Fantastic for nature lovers: woods, small creeks, and waterfalls. The only limitation - you have to get there by car. Going to Florence: a 10-11 min car ride to the railway station (free safe parking space available two steps away from the station) and a 10-12 minutes train ride (1,6 euro one way) - and you are in the very heart of Florence - Santa Maria Novella. The proximity of the hotel to the train station. It was very convenient to arrive at Florence and within 5 minutes you were at the doorstep of the hotel. Though it can be noisy due to trains and traffic noise but we didn’t mind it. The room was of a good size. We were given a room with a balcony with city views. You could get a hot drink from the bar because of no kettle in the room.
