It had a courtyard with plenty of seating, which was good because our room on the 3rd floor was quite small, even though it had a balcony, but this too was very small. The bathroom was small but the shower was powerful. The decor was lovely in the lobby - the dining area was lovely but our room was too dark. They allowed beer/wine from outside to be taken in the courtyard, which was good because a small tin of beer cost 3.50 euro (crazy price) Overall the hotel itself was very clean. Good enough selection of food at breakfast, the usual - scrambled eggs, cereals, cheeses and some meats.

Bit bad isolation between the rooms so heard the next door neighbours fight.... Slightly awkward so for everyones sake keep the volume down.
Good breakfast! And the rooms are really nice and spacious. Over all a really nice hotel and more than worth your money.

The room was tiny and the balcony was covered in bird poo. The air con also didn't work well and the lowest room temperature we could achieve was 25C. The room fridge was also poor; very small and not very cold. The Spa was also a little disappointing, with the shower broken and the Turkish Bath not very hot, and running out of energy if you used the jacuzzi function more than twice.
Mary was lovely and the main gentleman at the front desk was also very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The location was great for easy access via bus or walking into the centre of Bologna. The nearest amenities were also good, with a nice takeaway, cafe, restaurants and corner shop all delivering some local excellence. The hotel was also generous around check-out, too.

Only problem was really strong sewer smell from shower in both rooms I stayed in (at either end of my trip) shame as the bathroom was obviously new and clean. Forgot the U bend??

Close to the Bologna high speed station (connected to the mainline station via underpass). Not very far from the city centre. Bus stop to the FICO Eataly world attraction nearby. My room was newly refurbished, and very quiet.
