This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it. Out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but just a ten minute walk to get there. The piazza in Atrani has a good selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming is at hand and very safe. It is such a beautiful little town, its locals are friendly and will answer any questions. Note, the Sidi bus schedule does not run to normal schedule on public holidays like All Saints’ Day. Information around public transport can be difficult to find out so do your research before leaving home.

Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to some of the other villages. The buses went straight past the apartment or you could catch from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are fabulous, Savo and A'Paranza were our favourites. The little shops in the Square provided fruit, fish, bread, water, drinks and there was a fabulous little gelati shop. But most of all we loved a little cafe that we went to every afternoon for drinks, that was right on the water. Bar Nettuno is run by Andrew and is a great spot to chill out and watch the boats come and go.

The area falls in the centre of Amalfi.
The area falls in the centre of Amalfi. Everything was really close from here. Surroundings were very pretty and touristy as well. Location was perfect :) just sad that we only found Italian cuisine here. (since I’m a vegetarian ) so got a bit tired of eating pastas and pizzas for every meal :(

Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi.
Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi. It has a beach but you can also got to the amalfi by walk. There is a tunnel between amalfi and atrani 900 meters long. and also atrani has a little square includes market, bar, restoran. And also there is a michelin guided restoran there. we have experienced and it was really lovely.

We arrived in Salerno from Rome.
We arrived in Salerno from Rome. We thought we would be able to get a taxi/Uber to Atrani, but there were not any available. The easiest way was to take the ferry, which took about 35 minutes and it was a pretty view during the ride!
Leaving Atrani, we took van early in the morning and the winding roads made two of our three kids car sick, so the ferry is way to go if possible and is way cheaper.
Overall, Atrani was good and we enjoyed our time there. Most restaurants do not open for dinner until around 19:30, so if you have young kids it is good to keep in mind! It is easy to walk around throughout Almafi and Atrani.

Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip.
Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip. It’s walking distance to the buzzing and touristy Amalfi, but it’s quiet, local, and quaint. There are amazing restaurants a cute beach and all you need while still being close and connected to the rest of the coast. I really recommend it.
Geanluca is a phenomenal and caring owner! The place is beautiful in a great location! Every detail is thought out. Overlooking the town square. Steps from food, the beach and a 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town. Loved staying there. Preferred Atrani over the Positano zoo!! Don't get me wrong, Positano is beautiful, but insanely busy and absurdly expensive for Heaven knows why... Too many people on an overcrowded beach. The scenery is nice, but we got more out of Amalfi.
Our stay at MaFre was amazing. Sonia is such a lovely and thoughtful host, and she made our stay so enjoyable. The B&B itself was clean and comfotable, with a lovely balcony view of Atrani where we got to enjoy our breakfast each morning. We loved the location in Atrani (a short 10 minute walk along the beautiful coastline from Amalfi) as it was less touristy while still so close to all the action. We would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely be back in the future!
Overall I would highly recommend this place. Great location. Obviously far away in amalfi means higher up. The stairs can be brutal, especially for the aged, families or those carrying luggage. It is very close to the beach (150ft) and just two short flights of steps from the main road. Since you have a kitchen you must buy fish from the fish shop across the road. The fish mongers are great people and were amazingly helpful! A/C.
Everything about our stay at Frennesia was fantastic. the views were stunning. We had water views from our room, bathroom, and even shower. The property’s location is a very short walk to Amalfi, Atrani, the beach, and the ferry terminal. Comfortable bed and fridge included. The staff was very communicative. Breakfast was lovely - brought to our room. With coffee made to order.
Hotel owner is an incredibly nice person!
Believe me you would love your stay here! Location is perfect! It is just 10 minutes walk to Amalfi town, but it is also quite and peaceful.
Breakfasts are good, there are pastries and fruit offered.
Rooms are extremely clean with cute italian design. Nothing beats the feeling of waking up with the lemon trees view.
Wonderful location and very beautiful stay. Would stay in Atrani over Amalfi again as it’s much more peaceful. The staff were very welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast for us and made sure we had some pastries and fruit to takeaway with us when we had to check out early in the morning.
Would definitely recommend this accommodation.
We loved everything!
Guido was amazing, very kind, helpful and responsive.
The apartment was super clean, very nicely decorated and equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The location was superb, Atrani was the cosiest ‘city’ we visited on the Amalfi Coast.
If we ever come back to Amalfi, we will definitely stay here again.
Great location is beautiful Atrani, most charming village on Amalfi coast. Easy access on foot to Amalfi town, right in Atrani village which is wonderful to walk around. Apt. was well equipped, showed much personal care and attention. Maria was very helpful and friendly and caring.
Everything about Amalfi and Atrani was great. Would recommend it 10 out of 10. The owner is friendly and we even received as a gift a bag of lemons :)
The apartment is nice and modern, it is quite easy to reach it and to reach Amalfi. Maybe a 10 minute walk to Amalfi, even less.
Everything was perfect! The host was extremely nice and understanding. The location was spectacular; A easy 10 min walk to Almafi and a 2 min walk to the Atrani beach! Not to mention a delicious catered breakfast :) Would highly recommend to anyone to staying in the area.
The host is very nice and helpful, the location is excellent (only 1 minute walk from the beach, 10 minute walk from Amalfi's main street, a quiet place clear of the crowds). The apartment is clean, well equipped and very homey.
Perfect location in Atrani. Away from the crazy crowds in Amalfi but only a 15 min stroll to get there. Wonderful hosts and great clean and comfy rooms.
