This was a perfect apartment for a month long stay in Alghero. Right in the middle of everything. They had everything we needed at the apartment and then some additional items, such as umbrellas, beach towels, sand mats, etc. I really appreciated the kitchen being so well equipped, which made cooking pleasant. Also the air conditioning was great and really helped in this hot summer, and the WiFi was great. Can't say enough about the positives of this apartment and the host, who was so nice and helpful. Just wished I met her in person!

Hi I’m Simonetta, I live in Rome but I was born in Sardinia and I go to Alghero every summer since my aunts bought a wonderful house on the ramparts where I spent so much of my childhood, facing the sea! I love sea, mountains, music, sports and travel and I like to share with friends my passions: however I cannot stand a single summer without returning to Alghero and I would be happy to be able to make you enchant from this beautiful part of Sardinia! In Alghero I have two houses both in the Old Town: the largest is the Casa Blu, with a wonderful view on the ramparts for a romantic and relaxing holidays; the smaller is Casa Turchese, which combines practicality and comfort with the charm of the old town. The houses are different in size, location and price, both very cute and comfortable. At your arrival you will be welcomed by my friend Gigi, who runs a nice and appreciated B & B in Alghero; Gigi will take care of you during your stay, giving to you all the information and help you may need. Gigi and I, we will take care of your stay up to your departure and I hope you could spend an unforgettable stay in this paradise of the Mediterranean sea. Enjoy your holidays!

The house, located in the historic town, is fully renovated, equipped with every comfort and will enchant you especially for the blue light sparkling from the sea : living room and kitchen overlook a spectacular view of the ramparts and of the promontory of Capocaccia. The house is located on the third floor of a building in the historical center , the most characteristic part of the city. In the morning you will enjoy the cool quiet of the day when the sea and sky merge into their lighter colors, in the afternoon the blue light of the sea illuminates the living area: it seems to be in a comfortable boat on the water ! The house consists of a living room with balcony , kitchen, 2 bathrooms with shower, 1 large bedroom with double bed (or two single beds as you prefer) with a large closet; 2 comfortable sofa beds in the living room. Offering all the amenities, the apartment combines excellent practicality and sophistication for their attention to detail and is ideal for a dream holiday.

Neighborhood info

My houses are located in the heart of the historical center of the town Sardinian- Catalan , overlooking the sea on the Ramparts Marco Polo, where once the fishermen lived . Within walking distance there is the great market of freshly caught fish and fresh fruit and vegetables , the supermarket, the most famous pastry shops and bakeries with pastries and typical Sardinian bread . Alghero is provided by all kinds of shops and services , from the well-known designer Marras atelier to shops for all budgets ( refined , sports or everyday ), in the evening near my house you can enjoy a romantic sunset drink or meet with friends in the little squares of the old town or along the promenade full of bars and entertainments. For young people aged 12 years and over Alghero is a very safe and peaceful town and parents can relax and let their children go out until late. Public transport to reach the beaches or take a trip outside Alghero are near the public gardens just 10 minutes walk from the house . Near the house bicycles can be rented.
