Agropoli has a medieval old town of artistic value (100m.), a marina with all maritime activities: sailing, canoeing, rent boat; a national natural park, the "Cilento and Vallo di diano park" with the bay of Trentova within walking distance (1km.), and many services: bicycle rent, scooters and quads, horseback riding, tennis etc. Agropoli is strategically located in the middle for many touristic attractions (you can leave in the morning and come back in the evening) : Amalfi, Positano, Capri, and Palinuro can be reached by ferry boat. by train: Archeological site of Paestum 10 minutes ( 9 km.) (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Santa Maria di Castellabate 15 minutes, Pompei 1 hour, Salerno 30 minutes, Ascea (Archeological site of Velia of Parmenides) 1 hour, Napoli 1 hour, the railway stations are close to the archaeological sites.
