SpainWe parked our hire car right outside which was an obvious bonus for a small Tuscan village. It’s winter and the place was warm with a fire/gas heater in the room. The bed was amazing. Soft but firm. The host was so easy to discuss dining and she knew everything about the town. She speaks perfect English. This place has heart but it’s also clean, well fitted with all you will need plus a drop off breakfast that was more than generous. It’s also located so well. The vibe is wonderful and feels very good for relaxation and sleep.

L'host ci ha accolto puntualmente e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie. Ottima la posizione nella piazza principale di Stia, a 10 minuti da Poppi. Colazione abbondante. Consigliata vivamente!

Das Frühstück wird im "Fresskorb" aufs Zimmer gestellt, Kaffee gibt es aus der Maschine, auch Obst war dabei, sehr reichlich und gut.

Ancient palace fully renewed but with its historical taste well manteined. Located on saint Francis trail that lead to Assisi by walking. Close to Arno river where you could swim in summer and 1h drive to florence or arezzo. Well served by bus or train.
We are a family living in the same palace.
We are in the historical Piazza Tanucci where the film "il ciclone" was took.
