A quiet extremely friendly town. The restaurants and shops along the water were great. Down by the water most of the businesses spoke English, not so much in town. Such a quiet little town during the day then it lights up...
Such a quiet little town during the day then it lights up and is a bustling little centre at night. We loved the half day boat hire from the port, the small beach was lovely for a cool off. All the locals were very accommodating and happy. Amazing sunsets, good food and atmosphere. A quiet relaxing little town if you are wanting to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the bigger centres.

Trappeto is a small residential, peaceful town. I really loved that this town is less touristic compare with the neighbouring towns. You can emerge and see the local resident's everyday life. If you have a car to explore the area it could be a perfect place to stay.

There are not too much tourist attraction in Trappeto on its...
There are not too much tourist attraction in Trappeto on its own, but you can do visits in this part of Sicilia starting from there (e.g.Palermo, Eric, Castellamare del Golfo). The best thing to do there is to spend time on different beaches in the area. There are beaches with sand and also with stones. You can find nice beaches without too much people even in August. Or you can visit San Vito Lo Capo to see a big crowd.

A small town with everything we needed.
A small town with everything we needed. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, beautiful sunny weather and the sea. The only thing I didn't like was the rubbish everywhere, there weren't any bins and the visitors just left everything behind, not the tourists, but the locals I presume. I hope they will realize one day how important the environment is for the tourist industry. I can recommend Tam Tam Café on the beach for delicious pastries, coffee, ice-cream and friendly service.

Its very quiet, not touristy at all. Not many restaurants or bars so limited choice. Easy access to autostrada to get out around to other areas and places. A glimpse into times past which was nice but a few days is enough.

There's a lovely balcony with sea views and a cool breeze on hot days, and a rooftop terrace to watch the spectacular sunsets. There's also plenty of shade and space for outdoor dining. The pool was amazing to cool off in and our kids spent most of the week in it! The villa is well stocked with everything we needed and only a short walk from the shops and restaurants in Trappeto. Breakfast by the pool is great. It is a bit outside the village of Trappeto so you definitely need a car, there are no roads to walk. Each house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the views from the balcony are breathtaking.GabrielaSweden

Just imagine opening the balcony and seeing nothing but the sea with the soft lapping of the waves. Best place i ever stayed. Very nice place to stay with your family and travel around.
