We liked the garden and the amazing pool, the nature around is full of beauty (including the black turtle in the pond, and the white horse), the residence well equipped with everything. The host family were very nice and helpful. We highly recomend to try the restaurant that serves wonderful food, especialy the pizza, pasta and the meat (that was fantastic), also the wine. We stayed for 4 nights, 2 adults and 3 kids. We had extraordinary time and we will back to Locanda next visit to sicily.

Locanda Angelica is the ideal starting point from which to explore the natural, historic and gastronomic beauties and delights of the Ragusa territory. You can choose to delve into the history of those civilizations that contributed to the grandeur of the province and the areas surroundings Locanda Angelica. What to see in Giarratana Church of St Bartolomeo, built in the eighteenth century, inside you can admire many coeval frescoes; Mother-church, dedicated to the Annunciation and to St Joseph, built between the seventeenth and the eighteenth century, with a façade of the late Renaissance and the interior adorned with many works of local artists; Church of St Antonio, built in the eighteenth century in Baroque style, is located in the upper part of the village. Inside you will find precious golden stuccos; Open-pit museum, born on 14 August 1997 with the aim of recovering the history, the traditions and the customs of the eighteenth and nineteenth century; Calaforno’s hypogeum, a prehistoric artificial structure built underground, unique for the Mediterranean archeology; Terravecchia, the old town of Giarratana.
