We loved how close the property was to the Riomaggiore train station. Very convenient locatio, and we also felt that it was secure having the two locked doors (to the building and the apartment). We also enjoyed waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning - a soothing sound. Also, the property was clearly renovated and modern, and even had a hot water kettle in the room which was really great for making tea in the morning. Barbara met us at check-in on time, and even gave us recommendations for her favorite restaurants in Riomaggiore, which we really enjoyed.

The view and location are fantastic. The bed was comfortable. We loved having a balcony, where we shared wine and snacks (from the nice market across the street) overlooking the water and town. Barbara was a very hospitable host. The mini fridge and utensils were useful.

The balcony that overlooks Riomaggiore’s marina was easily the best part of the stay, but the entire flat was also extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including bottle opener, wine glasses, and simple breakfast items. Barbara is also welcoming and helpful host, meeting us at the station upon our arrival. We had the best time exploring Cinque Terre and would recommend staying in Malbo wholeheartedly.

Malbo is a great place to stay in Riomaggiore / Cinque Terre, a short walk from the train station. The room was very large and clean, with an amazing view of the city and the sea from the room and the balcony. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Malbo! The hospitality that Barbara showed us was incredible! From the night before we arrived she was extremely helpful. She met us at the train station and showed us around town. She gave us great recommendations as well informed us about the five cities. She walked us all the way up our room, which was great because without her we may have gotten lost. The room was clean and plenty big for the two of us. The view was absolutely breath taking and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the sun set and sipping on a bottle of wine! The room included coffee, snacks/drinks, and glassware. The best part was the location. The hotel was so close to the trains, restaurants, and the water. It was by-far our favorite hotel and favorite city we visited during our honeymoon to Italy! We cannot wait to return to the Malbo and Cinque Terre!
