San Paolo Hotel was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Cleaners, waiters and receptionists were so friendly and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners did such an amazing job. The waiters were very attentive and the receptionists were always helpful. We had full board and it was heaven to have three buffets a day with such a huge variety of truly delicious food. Water was free of charge. Table tennis was free of charge as well. Bikes and kayaks could be rented from the hotel. In addition to these activities we went on a snorkeling trip to the island of Tavolara offered by the nearby dive centre. After dinner we had a drink from the bar sitting in the outdoor area and we enjoyed the balmy evenings. We had the best holiday ever! Grazie mille to all the wonderful staff at San Paolo Hotel who made that dream of a holiday possible!

The food was FANTASTIC especially the pasta. There was no repitition over a 4 night stay and two choices of pasta per day. The staff were super friendly especially the two ladies on reception. Loved that the the beach sunbeds were included for the stay and how close to the beach the hotel is.

Second time stayed at hotel, very relaxing place to stay has its own private beach and water crystal clear. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.

Great location and exceptional staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is set on a lovely little beach with a stunning view across to Tavolara and our sea view rooms provided the perfect place to benefit from the beautiful scene. Meals were buffet style and there was always a good choice of food as well as plenty of it and rooms were clean and comfortable. We wanted a nice quiet and peaceful break and although there were various things going on in the small square next door, it proved to be the ideal location to just kick back and relax. Porto San Paolo is the departure point for boat trips to Tavolara and there is a weekly market for local produce and clothes, especially cotton and linen summer wear. However, the area never felt too busy and was very authentic. We would definitely like to return again.

The location was perfect. The hotel was right on the beach. Not so many people there in comparison with “popular” beaches. The hotel is very close to the big natural protected area with splendid water colors. Guys at the reception were super nice and gave us instructions how to get there. In general, people at reception were really great and attentive. Always nice, smiling and helpful. I would definitely come back.
