Amazing views out the windows, best sunsets on earth. People gather on the rocks in the harbor below to watch the sun go down, nice to be in the comfort of this excellent room for the experience. Very clean. Vary close to Bar Conchiglia (at the end of the street on your way down to the boat launch) where you get the best coffee and cornetta (Italian croissant) and great spot for an Aperol Spritz in the afternoon. Riomaggiorre is my home away from home in Italy and places like Orto Al Mar is why.

"Orto al Mare" is a small lovely Guesthouse with two separate rooms. The apartment has the best position in town, located at the very edge of it, directly overlooking the harbor. This means you’ll enjoy true seaside feelings and views while still being only minutes away from the main street with all its shops and restaurants. All windows are facing west, therefore you'll be able to watch the spectacular sunsets directly from your room! Both rooms have a private bathroom and a comfortable large double bed, outfitted with Italian organic cotton bed linen – but the coziest detail are the gentle sounds from the Ligurian sea, which will certainly help you to get great sleep! The rooms are fully equipped with free WiFi, air conditioning, TV, coffee machine, electric kettle, high quality natural cosmetics and hair dryer. A refrigerator with complimentary water and soft drinks as well as a small selection of coffee, tea, snacks and fruit will be at your disposal.
We are YSY, a big family now at home all across Europe, but always with the intense beauty of the Cinque Terre in our hearts. We want to offer a space to rejoice, unwind and explore. Riomaggiore is a very small town, meaning nothing is really too far out of reach. A nice bar for breakfast and snacks, a gelato parlor, the two best restaurants in town and the pier for the Cinque Terre round trip ships are all located literally a few steps from the house. The train station as well as the main street are only a few hundred meters away.
