Property info

Cozy apartment in one of the alleys of the historic Pedamentina stairs, declared a UNESCO heritage site, which connect Vomero district to the historic center of Naples. The apartment is on the second floor of a building from the XVII century of Neapolitan baroque architecture, without an elevator, and overlooks a citrus garden with a view of the Vesuvio. Inside it spreads over two levels. The entrance opens onto the living room, furnished with a dining table, a comfortable corner sofa bed and a desk. An opening gives access to the independent kitchen, fitted with all amenities including an oven and a kettle, all the necessary cooking tools and a floating breakfast bar with stools. A staircase in the living room leads to the mezzanine floor, where there is a queen-size bed. A bathroom with a bathtub equipped with a curtain shower completes the layout. Washing machine, heating with a heat pump and air conditioning in the living room will be available in the accommodation. *The area is not reachable by car, so access is not recommended for those with reduced mobility. The meeting with the welcome agent who will greet you will be in Vico Pedamentina a S. Martino, 33, Naples.

Neighborhood info

“When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave”, people say. Naples is a unique city, to experience by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples is at the origin of a peculiar culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Walking through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you will cross its millenary history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Cathedral of Naples and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place of Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, today a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and its two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Palazzo Reale. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city", or the so-called "womb of Naples", used by the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombings, where tourists can cross the Greco-Roman aqueduct.
