Great location, walkable from the train station, yet in a quiet and tranquil area. Old and atmospheric building (so nice to experience); close to nice restaurants, and to the train station area for water taxis etc.

We did use the small kitchen to make breakfast in the morning and the coffee maker. The room was comfy and large. I liked that we were on the quieter side of Venice still good restaurants nearby if you didn't want to walk all the way to San Marco Square area.

Great location, large beautiful apartment. You need to know that there are MANY stairs to get here. Canal stairs, and many steep apartment stairs. No elevator. There is no way I could have gotten my luggage to the apt without my boyfriend helping me and I am in great shape and strong. This is a very important fact people need to know.

1. Location nice location, the district is not that full of tourists, 5-7 minutes to Grand Canale and Pl. Roma, from where you can take a bus to the mainland or a boat to travel to other parts of Venice, enough cafes and restaurants nearby, big supermarket in 5 min. 30 on foot from St Marco, but as I mentioned before you can take a boat to get there too 2. Staff friendly and welcoming, the owner was always ready to answer questions via WhatsApp 3. Apartment itself Really quite and spacious, kitchen is well equipped, for two people there were more than enough cooking utilities, big bathroom with a modern bath, comfortable bed, there are also warm blankets in case it gets cold, building itself is really authentic
