Close to gondola to marmolada. We were in the apartment, but were offered dinner at the hotel. It was elegant dining and delicious and felt a little out of place because all we had were our hiking clothes! Made for a short hiking day along the Alta via 2-- semi rest day.

Located in one of the most incredible sections of the Dolomites. HIGHLY recommend taking the gondola to the top of the highest peak in the dolomites!! Wonderful WW1 museum on top to accompany the views! Very friendly helpful staff- very little English spoken, used google translate for harder questions Kept very nice.

The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen is fineand well equipped. Two-minute walk to the ski slope with access to Marmolada cableway. The apartment had washing & dish-washing machines. There is nobody at the location: you take/return the keys, information and all the administration in Hotel Hotel Malga Ciapela (200 m away). The personnel there is friendly and helpful.

Albergo malga ciapela was a great find. I was very surprised when I arrived. The hotel is very friendly and feels more like a family than a commercial hotel. I loved the decor, it's vintage and charming. The room was sufficient. I got the cheapest room. Sometimes it's better to get the cheapest room in a better hotel rather than an expensive room in a cheap hotel. The five course dinner every day for 20e was a nice surprise and very welcome after skiing all day. I loved the fireplace in the main bar area. Breakfast was included and better then others I have stayed at. It's just down the hill from the bus stop. Easy to reach from Belluno on the bus. It's a short walk to Marmolada ski lift. The have a shuttle every morning so you don't have to walk. Easy access to ski arraba too. And you can ski straight to the door in the afternoon. It has everything I needed and wanted.

The location was very good. For going to the slopes, they provide a shuttle, and to go back you can ski until the hotel. The path is evident, just take the field beside the bar that is in front of the begginning of the cable car. Also the room was very big, although the bathroom was very small, that is not that bad, but it was a bit noisy because the water kept running. They provided towels in good condition, the warmming was was, the view from the balcony was also very nice. The workers there were super kind and offer entertainments. The breakfast (included) was very abundant and good for the price. You can also have dinner there (not included in the price), that is composed by two dishes and desert. We had it both days and it was worthy. Prices afor the extra things are normal. I would recommend and come back :)
