Amazing location, staff and experience. Our favorite hotel in Sicily. Owner is a wonderful gentleman who treats his guests and staff like close friends. Make sure you are driving a small car or you may not make it the last ¼ mile to the hotel though. In that case, park behind Bar Vietalli and walk or take the tuk tuk, which is usually parked across the street from that bar (a Godfather scene shooting locale). If you do have a small car proceed up what looks like a pedestrian only path that a careful reading of signs will inform you is OK for guests of the hotel to drive. Again, it’s narrow and steep, so you may not make it in an SUV. Also, DO NOT follow Goggle maps gps directions to the hotel. From Danta Teresa on the coast follow the signs for Savoca. When you reach Savoca look for signs to the hotel. Really no problem with a small car and you will not want yo leave the perfect hotel in this perfect setting.

the location of the property in the mountainous village of Savoca is exceptional. The view extends on the sea as well as the mountain. The staff and Vittorio, the owner, are very friendly and kind.

The Hotel Complex is situated in a pittoresque mountain village. The swimming pool is large and well maintained. The restaurant is excellent and the owner cares for each and every guest (he calls his guests "friends"). The "canoli" we ate were among the best we have ever eaten. The same yields for the "limoncello". We arrived "between the meals" and the owner invited us for a delicious biological salad platter and wine. The Ionian Sea is visible far below in the distance. Sunrises watched from the terrace of the room are spectacular.

We had an exceptional stay at Borgo San Rocco. It started with the warmest welcome from Francesca and Vittorio (with COVID guidlines) - the staff are just the best! You could not ask for better service and feel they have invited you into their home. Our room was beautiful, with stunning views over the valley. The restaurant and food were incredible and some of the best pasta he had in Sicily. Not to mention the wine! We loved every moment and will most certainly be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
