the public transport is actually a disaster! it exists but you cannot find the timetables and stations easily and nobody seems to know neither. so who travels without a car, should plan their trip wisely.

There's everything you need right next to the B@B and you can either get a bus from out the front or just take a half hr walk to the centre. The Biodiversity park is two minutes walk away it's open early and closes at midnight..a whole day can be spent in that beautiful place. Anytime I'm in Catanzaro, I would definitely get this room again.WatsonItaly

Large bathroom with steam shower, a lot of space. We used the spa tailored and also got a massage which was great. Make an appointment ahead of time or when you get to the front desk. Breakfast included which was also great! Theybhane an elevator but have steps to first floor check in. Parking is tricky but this was October so we are able to park on the street. A short walk ( hills) to town and stores etc. We enjoyed our stay.JacquelineUnited States of America

The room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom good and clean with provided soap and shampoo/bodywash, and the simple breakfast good. The Trattoria U Tammaru immediately next door has a gate which communicates with the San Michele property, and serves a great dinner.

I could not recommend Palazzo Sama, La Danillo Pizzaria (amazing fresh quality food near by) and Catanzaro more. Everyone we encountered gave us some of our best Italian Calabrian experiences.
