The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The heat was on since it cold but it was at a comfortable setting, not too hot. They provided warm duvets plus an extra warm wool blanket for each bed in the room. The bathrooms were up to date with lots of hot water and hair dryers. Breakfast had real scrambled eggs, yogurt cups, pastries, and delicious breakfast cakes as well as fresh fruit and an espresso machine. We were a party of 9 female colleagues and we all loved the accommodations and the breakfast choices. We all highly recommend Hotel San Marco in Reggio Emilia!

The hotel location and 'modern' building in a precinct belies the wonderful atmosphere and period furnishings within. Very nice (almost grand!) breakfast room and cold breakfast selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. They offered to help with case up the 14 steps from ground floor to lift lobby.
