Everything! Francesco was very accommodating & made me feel special for my birthday🤗❤. He picked me up from the bus station,went over everything with me & Matera is truly unreal! Ancient,gorgeous in every aspect! I felt so @ peace since arriving! There"s a star chef Michelin star restaurant literally right next door. Talk about luxurious experience!

this property is the perfect way to experience the Sassi as it is right in front of The Valley and provides beautiful views in the morning. The property has been so well designed and is a beautiful place to spend a few days and experience the town. The host was very friendly and helpful, he picked us up from the bus station as we arrived late and he recommended a number of excellent local restaurants. The property has a coffee machine and everything required to make your stay comfortable if you are self-catering.

The location of this apartment was superb- right on the edge of the Sassi with incredible views. The room itself was large, clean and comfortable with loads of mod-cons…. the coffee machine was fab. The photos on booking.com are true to life. Francesco was a fabulous host, helpful and accommodating to my needs. My friends stayed in a more expensive apartment nearby but my room far exceeded theirs in every aspect.

We loved the location as it was so near the bus stop but handy for accessing all parts of the Sassi. The apartment was clean, stylish and had so much character with everything we needed for a 2 day stay. Finally, Francesco, our host, was sooooo helpful and communicative and even gave us a souvenir of Matera when we left! Super-recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a small property on the edge of the historical area of Matera, suitable for two people. The location is wonderful with a lovely countryside view with the Sassi at the back of the property. The kitchen is small and quite basic but adequate for breakfasts and simple meals. We made the mistake of walking from the railway station, Matera is like a maze with lots of steps and narrow streets. The Sassi bus is very frequent and inexpensive, it stops a few metres form the property.
