The caring friendly atmosphere created by the family was exceptional.They were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities and location were wonderful.The view of the Dolomites was breathtaking.Added to this there were various seating areas inside and out.The swimming pool which enabled you to swim outside from.Then there was the sauna and the jacuzzi.All the facilities were spotless and well maintained.Plenty of towels too. The food was varied and delicious.Buffets were outstanding.The chef was there in the evening to explain his dishes.He was passionate about his job.

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere! Wonderfull pool, amazing view, great food, great rooms. We loved everything with This hotel. Very easy to take the bus to nearby cities and gondols. Great seightseing and Walking tips from the staff. A Dream stay - we Will be back. We also rented e-bikes at the hotel.

We spent 6 wonderful days in this hotel, which offers a superb view of Ortisei. There are enough parking spaces for all hotel guests, either in the basement or next to the hotel. The services are impeccable, the food is very tasty, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Thank you Tiziana, thank you Patrick, thank you Melanie! Congratulations to the chef and Igor! I highly recommend this hotel, we have already made a new reservation and can't wait to come back.

What an amazing hotel. Place was spotless. We were half board and dinner was delicious. Our hotel room had everything needed and the views were incredible, and due to the ever changing weather looked different every hour! The staff were so lovely and worked so hard. Look no further - book now!

The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean . The views from our balcony and throughout the hotel were stunning. We chose the half-board option, which we highly recommend, as the food was extremely good and varied, each night. There is a superb bus service that stops a few feet away from the hotel entrance, making it possible to explore the area without a car. The family who run the hotel clearly work very hard to ensure their establishment offers wonderful quality stays to all their guests. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning, soon!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful convenient location. Located high up between the towns of Ortisei and Castellrotto with stunning views down the valley towards Ortisei. Bus (free for all tourists with ticket available from hotel), stops right outside the hotel which takes you to the surrounding villages and the various starting points for catching the gondola etc. It's a great efficient transport system. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious hotel room for 2 people with balcony and amazing view. The heated indoor/ outdoor pool and sauna was a welcome relief after a day walking. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety of choices. A delicious 4 course set menu dinner ( about 25 euro) is available which we had several times during our 6 night stay.

It was an amazing experience! The cleaness is exceptional, the dinner is very rich and tasty, the personnel is very firendly and helpful, the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are absolutely great and the view is wow. They have plenty of parking places and if needed, the bus station is just across the street. The value for money is just unbeatable. This was my 4th experience in the area and the first at this hotel. When I'll be coming back for the 5th time for sure a staying here would be my first choice. The experience is even better than in the pictures.

We had a fabulous time at Hotel Scherlin. the staff were very friendly and accomodating. We arrived at 7;15 pm and had missed the dinner order but the lovely Lady squeezed us it. we are at the restaurant for breaky and dinner and would recommend as the food is delicious and plentiful (buffet salad bar with meats, pasta and seafood, first and second course and dessert!!) and there isn’t anything else nearby unless you drive! the pool and spa was a lovely extra and we enjoyed the view from the rooftop! the room was bigger than expected. two single beds pushed together - as seems to be standard in Italy. it was clean and tidy. we would recommend and our only regret is not staying longer in the area so we could see more of the sites and relax at the hotel more.
