Monte Mario is exactly the height that rises in Rome on the right bank of the Tiber. It is located in the north-west area of the capital, crossed by the Via Trionfale, and occupies part of Balduina, of the territory of the Municipality I (Rome Center) and of the Municipality XIV (Rome Monte Mario) and a small portion of the Municipality XV (Cassia / Flaminia) of Rome, thus including part of the Trionfale, Della Vittoria and Primavalle districts. The same toponym also identifies the urban area located on this hill, near the Via Trionfale and the initial part of Via di Torrevecchia, where the railway station of the same name is located.
