Fabulous location and classy building with original features - loved the ceiling. We stayed in ‘Vienna’ with double aspect and lots of room. Fabulous bathroom. The communication regarding access was friendly and efficient - we didn’t really miss not having onsite reception. Trieste was a surprising gem on our travels around Europe.

The location is an asset. However, our recommendation for those arriving by car with lots of luggage, park your car immediately and directly at the Saba Silos (at the Railway Station) and from there cross the Piazza to go to the apartments. Unfortunately, there is no place to stop with the car and download your luggage. The reception staff was extremely helpful and although not on site, they were very reactive/fast and efficient to answer all our requests.

This is a very characterful property which has several independent rooms, all en-suite, and a communal sitting area. We only saw our en-suite bedroom but it was large, very comfortable and beautifully renovated with a stunning bathroom and tiny kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, electric kettle and sufficient plates, glasses, cutlery etc. it is also very well located just a couple of minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes to the centre of the old town.

  • Is elevator big enough for wheelchair and is any wiw to ⛵
    Hello, the elevator is a bit small because it's located inside an old building (I believe a wheelchair won't fit in there). None of our rooms has a sea view, so you can't see the regata from this guesthouse. We have other apartments with a sea view.

Le Saline Luxury Guesthouse is a guesthouse (not a hotel) located in the city center of Trieste, in the historical Borgo Teresiano. Every room has a private bathroom; we suggest checking the amenities of every room carefully as they might differ from one room to another. If you have any questions or doubts, do not hesitate to message us! The guesthouse does not have a reception, therefore there is no personnel inside the guesthouse: our check-in personnel is available via chat or phone to assist guests with anything. You can also drop by our office during opening hours for any necessity. The guesthouse does not have a luggage storage: we are aware of this, and we are sorry, but there are alternative solutions just a few meters away from the building! There is also another luggage storage inside the train station. You can ask the check-in personnel to help you locate the nearest deposit and give you information about where to leave your luggage. We are here to help if you have any questions or doubts: we are only a message or a call away!
