IrelandQuiet, but very close to the action in the old town, very near the main bus stop an the tourist office. so location was just what we wanted. It is a well designed, clean, simple & modern hotel. The staff looked after us very well and answered all our questions. If we visit Lake Garda we hope we will return to the Taormina. We are thinking of making the Taormina our base for exploring Verona and going again to the opera there -- last time in 1988 .
